Score-O at Ruth Arcand, Wed Apr 29
Come to the first meet of the year at Ruth Arcand! Most of the snow has melted, but be prepared for some lingering slush and puddles for this Score-O event. The main trails are packed but soft. Orienteers shouldn’t rely too heavily on vegetation mapping and some smaller trails may not quite match with the map, which makes this an excellent time to practice using other features on the map. The optimists among us will appreciate the excellent visibility through the woods and no bugs!
We are using electronic punch for this Score-O, so be sure to bring your finger stick or plan to rent one at the event.
- Plan to arrive 30-45 minutes early to find parking & check in
- 6pm – Score-O mass start
- 1 hour time limit
