Just a quick update as we are getting ready for a new season of orienteering events and a few dates to keep in mind.
- May 1st at
5:30pm6:00pm – Meet Director Meet-Up. This event is for the volunteers who design and run our fabulous meets. We are still working on the details, but if you are a meet director, a want-to-be meet director, or just curious about what goes into putting on a meet, please plan to come to this event. - June 25 to July 2 – Alaska Orienteering Festival 2025. After a successful first run last year, its on again! 4 events spread over a week including a return to the Willow Creek and Craigie Creek venues in Hatcher Pass. The Willow Creek meet will be a OUSA Nationally Rank Event, which may attract a number of outside competitors. See the Alaska Orienteering Festival 2025 for details.
To prepare for the upcoming season, you can complete the 2025 season waiver; buy your online season pass; and purchase a finger stick for timing if you do not already have one.
