UAA Double-O
The third installment of the 2024 Sprint Series will be held at UAA.
Starting at the UAA Sports Center NW Lot. Please park in the same lot as the start/finish, as the club has arranged for our parking fees to be waived, but only in that lot.
Short Course racers will complete the A course. It is a 2.5 km mostly urban course on the UAA campus.
Long Course competitors will do both the A course and the B course. The B course adds another 2.6 km of mostly urban running with one small foray into the woods. For long course competitors, there is a mandatory 5 minute break between punching the last control of Course A and punching the first control of Course B. To keep things simple for the meet director, it will be the sole responsibility of every competitor to make this break as close to 5 minutes without being less than 5 minutes.
Starts will be from 5 pm to 7 pm, with 8 pm being the cutoff time for finishing.
Remember to qualify as a Sprint Champion, either overall or by age group, you must compete alone on the long courses in at least two of the four qualifying sprints before the final.
