The final sprint championship is set for this coming Wednesday, followed by the club’s annual meeting. Here’s how it will work:
From 5-6 come out and run the sprint courses as an Open competitor. Everyone is welcome! It doesn’t matter if you haven’t even run a single sprint.
At 6 p.m. we will have the championship pursuit. This year we will feature the top five men running head-to-head, followed by the top three women. Here’s their order and time in minutes and seconds behind the rabbit:
Men:
Springer Moore (Under 18)(the bunny!)
Ian Moore (50-59)(1:10)
Scott Patterson (30-39)(1:13)
Allan Spangler (30-39)(1:35)
Alex Knapp (30-39)(3:43)
Women:
Jen Jolliff (50-59)(the rabbit)
Jamie Shearer (40-49)(3:27)
Julia Ditto (20-29)(4:30)
There will also be a consolation pursuit for a group of men that is optional, but fun for those who want to pursue rivalries. We will aim to start this at 5:10. Be there early to register:
Cory Smith (40-49)(the hare)
Dorn Van Dommelen (60-69)(0:40)
Max Romey (30-39)(0:43)
Gary Snyder (50-59)(3:04)
