Traditional Meet @ Prospect Heights on Wd June 5th

Note: Given the wet weather this morning, we are making a specific control on each course optional, thereby making the courses shorter (see revision below).  The optional control will be indicated on the map and it will still be set in the field if you want to visit it.  Competitive racers will want to skip the optional control for best time unless they just want to handicap themselves 🙂

Location: Prospect Heights Trailhead.

Time: Starts from 5pm until 7pm.  You must be off the course by 9pm.

Nestled in the foothills of the Chugach State Park, the snow is gone, the bugs are not yet awake, and the views are spectacular. We do not get out at this venue very often, so don’t miss this opportunity!

There will be five traditional courses from beginner to advance:

• White – 7 controls, 2.3 km 6 controls, 2.0km
  
• Yellow – 10 controls, 3.0 km 9 controls, 2.7km
• Orange – 11 controls, 3.1 km 10 controls, 2.9km
• Green – 13 controls, 4.1 km 12 controls, 3.7km
• Red – 16 controls, 5.2 km 15 controls, 4.8km

Please remember that the lot is pay to park, so bring a Chugach State Park pass or credit card to pay the $5 fee.
