Bear Valley Elementary School
Loads of orienteers showed up to enjoy the pleasant weather and support Service High Ukraine Club (which made over $1000 in donations!!). The signature course, “The Special Orienteering Operation” set a new record for the most starts (37!) on a given course during the ePunch era. Participants in this race were able to purchase minutes from the Ukraine Club to penalize their competitors, resulting in some unusual churn in the top of the standings! The shorter sprint courses were also very popular.
You can review and analyze online splits with the following services. Note that only the SportIdent results have been modified with the penalty minutes. Also note that Ian Moore, Jen Jolliff, and Springer Moore ran the courses as vetters and designers, not as competitors.
