Score-O at Bartlett High School this Wed Aug 5th
Are you smarter and/or faster than a high schooler? Come to Bartlett HS on Wednesday, August 5th and see how you stack up against XC runners from around the district on a Score-O course. Club members are invited to a mass start at 6:00 pm near the BHS track. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to have time to sign in and get your materials. The starts earlier in the day are reserved for the HS teams only.
The difficulty of the 25 controls on the course runs between beginner to advanced beginner (white to yellow). Participants have one hour to find as many as they can. Typically, this is an event where a decent number of club orienteers can find all the controls before time runs out. We will be using manual punches at this event.
Safety Notes: At least one bear is active in the woods near the school, please take the appropriate precautions.
Volunteers Needed: The majority of the HS teams will be cycling through the course from 3-5:30 pm. If you are able to help HS participants start and finish, please contact the meet director, Art Harmon at coachartjn@gmail.com
