Sprint at Service!
This week we’re heading to Service High School for another sprint meet!
Sprints are a great chance to bring a friend who hasn’t tried orienteering before. They’re shorter, quicker, and a little less intimidating than a longer meet, so if you have a friend who you’ve been trying to drag to a meet for weeks on end, now’s your chance.
Long Course: 3.4km
Short Course: 1.9km
Please be mindful of people using the bike paths and trails. Try to avoid downhill single-track trails, and give other trail users plenty of room.
After (or even during) the meet, check out the new mural on the front of the building, it was painted by the club’s very own Jen Jollif.
The start area will be between the hockey rink and the little gym, so please park in the lot on the northeastern side of the school.
We can’t wait to see you all out there!!
