As a condition for using the military land, all participants must pre-register (even if you have a military ID).
Unless you have a military ID, you must enter through the Boniface gate. Tell the guard that you are going to the Orienteering event. All occupants in the vehicle must be on the pre-registration list. All adults must present a government issued photo identification (i.e. driver’s license). A photo id is recommended for older teenagers. The driver might also be asked to present the current vehicle registration and proof of insurance (make sure it is not expired!). Once through the gate, proceed north past the runway (about 1 mile). Follow the controls to the start area.
Buckle up! You must always wear seat belts while in a vehicle on JBER.
Use of cell phones is prohibited while operating a vehicle on JBER.
Speed limits are strictly enforced on JBER. You’ve been warned.
