Description
The vegetation varies from open fields to thorny rose bush thickets. The terrain is equally varied from flat-ish fields to deep/steep lake pockets.
Getting There
From Anchorage, take the Glenn Highway north. Take the road to Palmer at the Wasilla turn off. Within a half mile from the underpass, turn left into the Matanuska State Park.
