Tonight is the Championship Pursuit Race of the Season Sprint Series. Beginners and those not interested in the Sprint Series are welcome to run on either a long or short Sprint Course!
The plan on the night is to run an Open event (with Long and Short courses for everyone not in the Championship Pursuit) at the beginning of the evening (starts from 4:45 to 5:30pm). The Championship Pursuit (for those who qualify and are within 30 minutes of the sprint series leader) will take place on the Long course at 6pm. Those who run in the Open event will still be eligible to win their age group category. Details subject to change, so stay tuned for additional information.
The final pursuit course is designed to be spectator friendly. All orienteers will pass close to the
Start/Finish area several times. Bring along some snacks, we’ll be roasting hotdogs at the finish for a tailgating experience.
Start times from 4:45pm to 6:30pm, you must be done by 8pm.
