In-person meet with three course options: full (Mountain Goat), medium (Billy Goat), and a traditional white course. This mountain course is longer and hillier than most traditional red courses, but accesses beautiful terrain around Glen Alps and frequently goes above tree-line on the tundra.
Start location: Far end of Glen Alps (Flattop) lower parking lot. Participants must have a Chugach State Park parking pass or pay $5 at the entrance kiosk to park.
Start time:
- 10 am mass start Mountain Goat-O
- 10:15 am mass start for Billy Goat-O
- any time between 10:00 am and 12 pm for White course
Latest finish is 2 pm. Please arrive by 9:00am to get registered and ready for the mass start events.
Please bring adequate food, water, and clothing to stay fueled, hydrated, and warm while out on the course. We encourage everybody to bring bear spray. Also note that the Mountain Goar and Billy Goat runners will get wet feet and may want to bring dry shoes and a change of clothes
