Join us on Wednesday, September 10th on a new map for the Suburbi-O Sprint. Starts from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. You must be finished by 8 p.m. The event begins and ends at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 2501 Maplewood St., north parking lot.
We have enjoyed a couple of innovative sprints this year: Allan’s Hill-to-Hill-O followed by Steve’s Tree-to-Tree-O, both of which took place after Mark’s solid sprint at Ruth Arcand. And now, a completely different experience. Come and run on neighborhood streets, in alleys, and maybe through a strip mall in TWO sprint events. Hardcore sprinters participating in the pursuit championship on September 24th will want to run both courses. Folks out for a lighter evening can choose between three different courses, all fast and mostly flat:
Rogers Park-O, 2.3 km, 15 controls
College Village-O, 3.3 km, 19 controls
Stroll-O, 1.9 km, 8 controls (suitable terrain for casual walkers, strollers, wheelchairs, longboards, etc.)
