35 individuals and teams started what would become a chaotic sprint on a stormy evening after multiple wasp nests and a black bear were discovered on the course. Springer Moore flew past both the bear and the wasps, clocking the fastest time of 32:51 on the long course. Julia Ditto also made it through the course unscathed in a winning time of 47:32. Thanks to everyone who made it out to the second sprint of the series, and an extra thanks to Dwight Iverson for helping pick up controls in the rain afterwards!
