McHugh Creek
Thanks to all who came out to McHugh Creek for a windy, overcast evening of orienteering to kick off the summer season. Although courses were short in distance, everyone got to experience at least a little of the devil’s club, deadfall, and other thorny experiences that make the McHugh Creek area special. Scraped up hands, legs, and arms were evident on most finishers. Those who brought gardening gloves were well rewarded! Notable wildlife sightings included a couple bears with cubs and a coyote. Also thanks to Dwight Iverson for help running the meet table.
