It is a fast, fun and sometimes wet meet out at APU on Wednesday, August 30. Scott Patterson had the fastest time on the 4k long course, beating out the team of Peter and Curtis by only two seconds! On the 2k short course, Team Elizabeth had the fastest time. I think it is shaping up to be a fantastic Sprint final next week at Bartlett HS!
I want to thank everyone who helped at the meet: Dwight Iverson, Jamie Shearer, Harlen Harmon, Andrew Harmon, Scott Patterson, Aaron Gast, Peter Johnson, and Nancy Pease. Apologies to anyone I may have forgotten. I had some complications as I was setting up the course and got behind schedule, but it was such a comfort to see so many of you willing to help get everything running and being so patient and understanding. That spirit is one of the many reasons I love this club! Thank you!
