The first event in the Sprint Series was fun for all, with over 65 participants. It was a beautiful evening of orienteering – No bears, moose, very few mosquitos, and many new faces! Scott Patterson and Ellyn Brown took top honors in the Long and Short course respectively.
Thanks to Mark Findlay for helping the newbies get started. Thanks to Mike Robinson for helping with maps; Regan Sarwas for tech support; Anne Billman for support at the table with electronics; many thanks to Dwight Iverson for helping with carrying all the stuff to our cars, and also thanks to Jill Follett for picking up controls.
