Four sprint events have been held (Ruth Arcand, UAA, Kincaid, and Settlers Bay) and the starting positions for the final pursuit championship at Earthquake Park are set.
The pursuit starting times are from 6pm to 6:30pm. All other orienteers (and anyone who does not want to participate in the pursuit) are free to begin between 5pm and 6pm or 6:30pm and 7pm.
These are the current Sprint Pursuit Championship starting times for the leading 30 orienteers. Allan Spangler would start, but he’s the meet director! Alas. Scott Patterson will lead the field starting one minute and 14 seconds after Allen would have started, followed by Ian Moore at 1:39, etc. The first across wins it all, and the first across for each age and sex grouping wins, too!
