Come to Glen Alps Trailhead Saturday, August 20th to navigate your way
through the spectacular Chugach Mountains on one of two courses set by
orienteering master, Bill Spencer. The tundra is starting to change
colors, the berries are at their peak and the courses will be set mostly
above treeline! You won’t want to miss out, so grab a friend (not
required) and pack a snack for a fun few hours exploring your
backyard-backcountry. Start times for these long and medium length
traditional orienteering courses are between 10:00 and 11:30AM. This will
be a manual punch event, so you can leave your finger sticks at home.
