Don’t miss the grand opening of the new Ruth Arcand Permanent Orienteering Course this Wednesday, September 15 at 5:45PM.
Join the Arctic Orienteering Club and the Boy Scouts of America as we hold a short dedication ceremony followed by a 45 minute Score-O event. Meet up at the pavilion area near the first parking lot off of Abbott Road. Look for fall foliage and crisp weather as we navigate through an engaging mixture of developed infrastructure, trails and open woods to find the newly installed control markers. Please be aware of equestrians, stay out of fenced paddocks, and give horses plenty of space both around the stables and on the trails.
We honor and thank Owen Nordstrom who, as part of earning his Eagle Scout badge over the past year, designed and facilitated the construction of this permanent orienteering training course.
