I should have the Kincaid Jodhpur courses loaded into RouteGadget sometime Thursday.
Had trouble finding control #1 on the long course as it was listed as being in a saddle. It actually was in what I would call a re-entrant; the base of a gully.
Yeah, a saddle it was not.
What scale are these courses at?
Sorry I could not get the scale to work on the map. They are 1-10,000.

The long course was fun. It was a nice afternoon today to be out. I saw at least 5 others (2 individuals and 3 teams) out on the trails with map in hand.

Hint for the short course at Jodhpur: I Zoomed the map on my computer, then did a screen shot of the section we needed. Much larger and easier to read print-out of the whole course. We have enjoyed these all summer! Thank you.
#5 on the long – I came at it from the west and found both flags on the ground about 5 meters from the control. I stuck them back in the ground at the survey tape & got out of there before bear, I’m assuming that’s what was playing around, saw me.
When we did the short course, there was a black bear around the last control. But…..they’re everywhere! Thanks Shelly.
