The evening was warm and sunny and the orienteering courses were short and fast. Several participants enjoyed the two for one deal, and ran both the courses at the UAA Sprint-O. After placing 2nd in the women’s long course, Ellyn Brown went on to win the short course. After finishing 3rd in the men’s long course, Bill Spencer went on to win the short course. In the team event, Dan Baird and Tao Leyden won both the long and short courses. Cory Smith won the men’s long course in 16min 27sec, and Jen Jolliff won the women’s long course in 20:55. Congrats to all the participants, especially the first timers.
