Traditional meet at Upper Huffman Trailhead, Chugach State Park

Starts 5-7 pm, finish by 9pm
Temperatures are looking up and buds are poised to open, but vegetation remains low and visibility high in this challenging foothills terrain. Continuing snowmelt from higher elevations means many trails on this course will still be very wet and considerably muddy.
State Park daily parking fee is $5 unless you have an annual pass.
Please carpool, as parking is limited.
- Starts from 5pm to 7pm. Finish by 9pm
- Please be aware of wildlife and other trail users. Bear spray recommended. Black bear sighting on Silver Fern Trail within a half mile of start while setting the course.
- Bring your punch stick, compass, and whistle. Long pants and sleeves recommended

- White – 7 controls, 1.9 km
- Yellow – 10 controls, 2.6 km
- Orange – 12 controls, 4.0 km
- Green – 15 controls, 4.5 km
- Red – 16 controls, 5.6 km
