Final Ski-O of the Season!

On Sunday, March 29th we’ll have our final Ski-O of the season. Gary Snyder has set a Long Course of 5.8 km with 13 controls and a Short Course (like last event’s Medium) of 3.2 km and 9 controls. The Start and Finish will be in the stadium parking lot and the courses use parts of the Mize, areas along Margaux’s and Mize’s Folly and, for the Long Course Sisson.

Starts are from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Everyone should be done by 12:30 p.m.

Gary would welcome some help pulling controls at the end of the event. Hang out, chat, and lend a hand if you can.

On Thursday, April 2nd come and celebrate a successful Ski-O season at Cynosure Brewing starting at 6 p.m. At some point around 6:30 Tamra Kornfield will talk about her time skiing at the World Ski-O Championships in Japan and we’ll have a discussion on the future of ski orienteering in Alaska!
