Where: Ruth Arcand Park shelter
When: Start any time between 5pm and 7pm. You must be done by 9pm.
Join us at Ruth Arcand Park for the 3rd meet of the season. The vegetation is still low, and many areas within 100′ of the major trails have had dead spruce trees removed. You will barely recognize portions of the park, but the added visibility should help you while navigating this trail-rich map.
The park has dried out nicely, so you should be able to easily avoid any remaining mud. Courses are a bit on the shorter side, but with a few additional controls to balance things out:
White: 1.9 km, 11 controls
Yellow: 2.3 km, 14 controls
Orange: 3.0 km, 15 controls
Green: 3.9 km, 15 controls
Red: 5.1 km, 21 controls
If this is your first meet of the season, be sure to prepare by signing the waiver online and buying your season pass: https://oalaska.org/2023/04/getting-ready-for-the-season-2/
