We had a good turnout for the Halloween O. It was great to see so many folks roll out in costume. We had over 40 people for the Treat O and over 15 for the Trick O. We largely managed to avoid the rain and had a fabulous evening of spooks and orienteering.
Scott Patterson and Allan Spangler both managed to hit every control in the Treat O, but Scott just managed to beat Allan back. Ruth Lewinski claimed the title of highest score in the women’s division. Jamie Shearer and Paul Stone were the high scorers in the team event. Arlo Jesper and Nico Shearer managed to pull out a victory in the Treat O with the fastest time, though all teams went home with candy.
Extra special shout out to all my assorted volunteers and everyone who helped with planning, you really made this event happen! I think we managed more trick or treaters than volunteers, and I know a few of you were able to slip out and run the course at one point or another. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
