Orienteering this Wednesday evening will be on the trails and in the woods at Mirror Lake Middle School. Drive north on the Glenn Highway approximately 25 miles and exit at the NORTH PETERS CREEK exit. Turn left at the stop sign onto Lake Hills Drive and follow Lake Hills Drive and the signs to Mirror Lake Middle School. The sign up and start / finish area will be just south of the hockey rink.
The meet will be a traditional meet with starting times from 5 pm to 7 pm. Please be back at the start area by 9 pm and check in with the organizers when you finish.
5 courses will be set:
- White, 2.8 km
- Yellow, 3.6 km
- Orange, 4.7 km
- Green, 5.2 km
- Red, 6.5 km
Please be bear aware and carry bear spray as bear scat was seen while setting the courses. And be prepared for mosquitoes, its that time of the year!
