There will be a Navigation Celebration and Billy Goat-O meet in Storck Park starting at Bear Valley School, 15001 Mountain Air Drive.
Gather at 5:30pm to register and rent sticks. Mass start at 6:00pm.
In normal orienteering, it is frowned upon to tuck one’s map into one’s pants and follow another competitor. The Billy Goat-O is not, however, normal orienteering. Following is explicitly permitted, condoned, and some even say encouraged. If you can follow somebody to glory, all the more power to you!
