Butterflies are looping courses sharing some common controls. Its a way to have competitors on the same terrain but avoid having them group up. You may see a lot of competitors but you won’t know which loop they are on!
The plan is to have 5 courses with the following approximate lengths:
- White: ~1.2 km
- Yellow: ~1.5 km (1 of 4 Butterly loops)
- Orange: ~3.0 km (2 of 4 Butterly loops)
- Green: ~4.5 km (3 of 4 Butterly loops)
- Red: ~6.0 km (4 of 4 Butterly loops)
Start location is the Glen Alps parking lot (Flat Top). Participants must have a Chugach State Park parking pass or pay $5 at the entrance kiosk to park.
Individual starts from 5 – 7 pm. Stop time at 9 pm.
