Far North Bicentennial Park – Mile 2.2
Approximately 120 people enjoyed near-perfect conditions for orienteering in Far North Bicentennial Park pm Wednesday evening. Orienteers were treated to very little undergrowth, relatively dry woods, and almost no mosquitoes. On the longest, most challenging Red course, Ian Moore and Jen Jolliff emerged as the Men’s and Women’s winners. Ian found all 16 controls in 53:13, while Jen finished in 1:10:45, ahead of all but three of the men.
The meet director was Cory Smith. Thanks to Dan Billman, Lexi Hill, and Corrie Whitmore for field-checking the controls, Shelly Laws and Brittany Hippe for helping to run the meet, and Linda Smith for providing snacks.
All of the courses are posted on RouteGadget. Add your own route and see how your route choices and times compare with others!
