The final sprint in the inaugural Sprint Series takes place this coming Wednesday at UAA! The starting point will be the traditional UAA start location in the parking lot to the north of the Wells Fargo Center. There will be a long, short, and white course available with starts from 5 to 8. If you have been following the Sprint Series at all, you know that the final race is a pursuit in some age categories. In most age categories we already have a winner and in a few we didn’t have enough starts to declare a winner or run a pursuit (see below). In those categories, everyone should just run as an Open competitor and start when it’s convenient for you. In the three categories we can have a pursuit, I’ve listed the qualifying competitors and their start times below (between 6-6:15). The first to cross the finish line wins the category with the winners expected to come in between 6:30-6:45. There will be a very brief awards ceremony at 7. Here are the starts or winner for each category:

Seniors
The seniors were a rebellious lot. Most of them raced in the long course when they were, in theory, supposed to be in the short course. It was very hard to make comparisons, but it’s fair to say that the winners were:
Men: Bill Spencer
Women: Lexi Hill
