Storck Park
93 people came out for the orienteering event at Storck Park in Bear Valley. Challenging terrain and difficult route finding made for long adventures for participants. Cory Smith won the men’s long advanced course with Ian Moore in second. No women started the long course. John Fritz won the men’s shorter advanced course with Mark Findlay in second. Vanessa Angel edged out Karen Bronga in the womens short advanced course.
Thanks to the following volunteers for helping put on this meet: Cory Smith for set up, helping registering people and clean up, Tobias Schwörer for help with the electronic timing system, Ian Moore for map/ocad advise and taking in controls, Jen Jolliff and Springer Moore taking in controls, Anne Billman for help at the start/finish area getting beginners out on the course today and last but not least Vebjorn Flagstad for help hanging controls and lots of O- friends for watching my kids during the meet.
