Mirror Lake Middle School
Almost 50 Alaskans were brave enough to orienteer in the blistering sun of the 31st outrageously warm day in July. Ian Moore won the long and difficult red course in 1 hour 15 minutes and 13 seconds, beating birthday boy Cory Smith by a mere 22 seconds. Karen Bronga topped all women with a time of 1 hour 53 minutes and 22 seconds on the orange course. Thanks to Linda Smith for the big chocolate birthday cake.
