Far North Bicentennial Park – Mile 2.2

125 orienteers from age 0 to 89 turned out on a very warm, sunny evening of fun and challenging orienteering at the Bivouac Trailhead at mile 2.2 of Basher Road in Far North Bicentennial Park. Ian Moore won the longest, most technical Red course in a time of one hour and eighteen seconds. Jen Jolliff was the first female finisher on Red. On the slightly-shorter, but-just-as-technical Green course Steve Gruhn paced the men in a time of 1:13:46, while Anne Billman topped the women’s field in 2:01:39.

This meet was organized by by Cory Smith. Thanks to Linda Smith for her help and Resource Data, Inc. for donating the map printing.

Come join us next week at Ruth Arcand Park for orienteering, and a pizza party afterwards!
